Wisconsin's Licensed Child Care Search contains information on the location and regulatory history of almost 6,000 child care centers licensed by the Department of Children and Families (DCF). The site allows parents to search for licensed child care by county, city, zip code or facility name and review the facility's licensing information, including compliance history and enforcement actions. Along with many other helpful resources, DCF also provides a starting tool titled Tips for Choosing Childcare.

Child Care Resource and Referral (CCRR) agencies throughout the state are another resource. CCRRs can assist parents in selecting quality child care by providing a customized listing of licensed and certified child care providers in their area.
